What I create here is much more than a simple harness, it is a comfort, a security, and a style, for owner and flock member, unlike any other on the market. It is as easy to use as 1-2-3, over the head or snap on the back, and two clips on either side. A lifestyle that can navigate and change your bird’s existence in the pet industry, they have an option to safely attend outings with their flock family, safely, securely and in a style like no other. A subtle reminder that you are in control of your bird’s own safety.
Leathers4Feathers Harness sized for the type of avian in the title of this listing. If your bird is different than the one listed, please see my other listings or message me on my LEATHERS4FEATHERS FB page so I may answer any questions you may have.
Prior to wearing the harness, consider a clicker training system to appropriately train your bird. Clicker Training is simply a bridge of communication between you and your bird, it provides structured positive reinforcement and will add success to any learned skill you want to teach your bird.
Note: Bird pictured and It's harness are just examples and are not for sale. Please use the drop down menus to customize the harness for you. Harness come with an available snap in the back so straps don't have to go over your bird's head. Straps that have to go over the head frequently spook birds, causing a negative experience for your parrot.
If you wish to add a concho or decorative rivet to your design please visit those listings in my store. I have added the available rivets to the photo gallery since they can be worn with all sizes. Please feel free to consult with me about appropriate sizes for your bird type.
Decide if this harness will be appropriate for your bird prior to putting it on your bird to wear, as I will not issue a refund for a harness that has been worn and altered by your bird.
THE PERSON HANDLING THE BIRD IS FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAFETY AND INTEGRITY OF THE BIRD AND HARNESS. PLEASE INSPECT YOUR BIRD'S HARNESS REGULARLY ESPECIALLY RIGHT BEFORE YOUR BIRD WEARS THE HARNESS.
Birds can and will, chew at any harness compromising it's integrity. It is the handler's responsibility to prevent any destruction to the harness. Proper training is a MUST. If your bird struggles, remove the harness immediately, as this indicates more training is necessary.
If you decide to take your bird outside, YOU therefore take FULL RESPONSABILITY of your bird and their well being.
